Vintage Moment

Okay, an admin will have to move this and I may get chastised for posting in the wrong section but here is my vintage moment;

At the tender age of 2 years 1 month and 2 days my son has just said Star Wars 8)

Anyway, admins please move this to off topic.

Not only is this in the wrong section but what on earth is with the title?? "Vintage" moment? It's a "Star Wars" moment at best..AT BEST!!! Now..if he had said "Blue Snaggletooth" I would have kept quiet...but "star wars"??? :roll: :roll:

I know its obvious and all to often said, but they do grow up WAY too fast.. my son turned 15 a couple of weeks back, not only makes me feel very old and proud at the same time, but also oddly sad that he's not a baby anymore. I don't miss the nappies and constant need to be watching CBeebies and the like, but I'm also not overly keen on a house full of noxious Lynx type deodorant either!

Milestones like this are worth a moment to share though, so lets hope this thread stays here at least 24hrs :wink:

my 4 year old daughter recognizes the starwars logo now. and points out everytime she sees the something with it on she says look daddy 'starwar'

My little one loves Star Wars now - anytime the trailers or the music comes on then she runs around shouting "Star War" in a funny voice - it's great to see

My only real concern is that as my collection grows I'm going to start to run out of places he can't reach/won't climb to :? :?

Little update on this, he has been able to say Chewie for a while as well as actually identify the walking carpet to the point of us being in Forbidden Planet the other week and him almost screaming the place down shouting it

Well tonight I've got him progressing nicely yo be able to say Han and Chewie, all I need now is for him to stop calling Vader daddy :?
