Vectis Auctions 24th & 25th Feb 2016

so... is anybody heading to vectis to collecting anything? I've won a couple of bits, which it would be amazing to get quicker - beer tokens paid of course.

I'm chuffed :) just won three Mocs. A tri logo snaggletooth, a klaatu and a yoda. I'm glad I have my boxed and loose stuff all collected and am now trying to put together a complete set of figures on the cheapest cards for under £130 each :)
I wasn't able to watch the auction though for some reason my iPad won't let me and I didn't get any emails either, so don't know if the auctions finished?
Do I just wait now for an invoice or what?
Cheers :)
Oh has the sandcrawler and shuttle gone? Wouldn't mind knowing what they went for ?

I got the complete 12" IG-88 for £170 plus fees :) Well pleased!

Nice buy, that will be on my "biunty hunter" focus in the future. Watch out for the melting grenades

Saw that go and thought it a great price for a complete IG, Rich. Nice buy.

And whoever out of me on the open but unused A-Wing: I don't like you anymore. Great buy, well done!

I bid on 55 lots, just enough that I didn't miss a deal. I was really after 2 items, one of which I knew I had no chance of - the Italian DSC. Yeah no way I was paying £1375. Although I bid a good amount.

I however got my boy - AFA Graded 85 41A AT-AT Driver. £360 (£450). One of these with the exact same grade sold recently on eBay for $1500. RESULT!!

Would have loved the 41 back Palitoy Han, but it crept too high, and who knows if the winner had even more in the pot. Oh well, this collecting is a marathon, not a race.

ANYONE GOING TO VECTIS FANCY PICKING THIS UP AND POSTING TO ME FOR BEER TOKENS? :D

Congrats on your wins people.

I'm in the same boat today, can't bid 'live' so left some commission bids on a few bits.

Pretty certain they don't start bidding at the bid you placed, they need another bidder to 'bid up' to that amount before the price reaches your bid.

I had a large bid on an item last year and it didn't reach the bid I placed.

No mate they will start at around 40-50% of the bottom estimate if of course no bids have been left. Shame that never seems to happen with vintage SW

I guess I can understand bidding on 55 lots so you don't miss a deal, but hasn't that potentially just bumped up a **** load of items for everyone else to pay for?

Very nice AT-AT Driver though - thought about that one myself as it would have been an upgrade on mine but it went too steep for me. Glad a forum member got it though!
