I used to get really excited about every Vectis auction and make a shortlist of 20-30 items to bid on. I just browsed through tomorrow's items, and just saw a load of stuff that I think will probably go higher than I would pay, so haven't bookmarked anything. I guess that sums up my collecting these days, I hardly ever look on eBay or Facebook groups any more either. I just assume everything will be stupidly expensive.

It's been sometime since I've bid seriously on Vectis. Prices are crazy and there's hardly anything that appears on there now for which I'd be willing to spend crazy money.

For over the last 12 months, my Vectis status has been Outbid, and I can't see it changing anytime soon.
