Could anyone give me a ball park figure of how much my entire collection of vintage figures are worth? I have every single vintage figure including variations ie han solo with large and small head, obi wan with grey and white beard ect.. Collection includes max reebo band. The only figure I don't have is blue snaggletooth. Could any one give me a hint what they are worth.

Do you have all the original weapons?
Do your figures have paint flaws or loose limbs?

Someone may be able to provide a ballpark quote for a full collection in say C7 condition, but I wouldn't be interested in allocating a price to a collection myself. gl

Assuming you mean loose, complete and in c8 ish condition with no blue snag and no vcj but with the last 17 and all original weapons then about £3000-3500

I costed mine up recently without VCJ and Blue Snaggletooth but with all 3 R2, 2 C3PO, Lando smile / no teeth, Han Trenchcoat (Camo / plain Lapels), Luke Jedi (stitch / snap cape), Ben Kenobi (white / grey hair), Yoda (orange / brown snake) and Rebo Band.

With the exception of 3-5 figures they are all c9 and above and all have original weapons and correct variant (with exception of solid black Luke Stormtrooper blaster).

The final figure was just over £4K. Prices were based on average C9 prices on eBay from May - July. Price may be lower as market appears to have dipped at moment.

Crikey, how long did that take you to put together? :o
Copy and paste, I was chatting with Simon about what a full set would cost a couple of weeks ago when I was "busy" at work

If anyone is selling any off that list for that price and in mint condition would you be able to pm me please?

Condition is everything. I wouldn't touch a C7 Han Hoth, but I would easily pay 30£ for a Han Hoth C9 minty. Original gear is a necessity

From my experience from very excessive and very unhealthy fanatic Star Wars collecting frenzy the past 29 days, I would humbly agree that the list is pretty close to market prices on c8

If a bit picky I would rate C8 differences here if you aren't in a mental crazyness Ebay click feast following all markets like me atm :p :

Barada 50
Bib 7
Chewie 10
Cloud Car 30 (just bought a C8 close to C9 for 18)
Greedo 20 (Yesterday got C9 (maybe C10 even) totally flawless one for 25. High bidded 45 as he is in a crazy good condition. So C8 25£ is a bit high)
IG-88 15
Han Carbonite 70
Han Hoth 25
Imperial Gunner 90
Leia Bespin comes with two very different price tags.
Same with Luke farm. Brown og Golden hair makes quite a difference. No way Golden hair is 75
Lumat 35
Nikto 7
Power droid is all over the place, same is R5-D4
Stormtrooper. Yeah surprisingly costly :) How many of you are building a Clone army? :D
Yak Face c8 can't be 200?

Basicly that list is a bit too high for me. 10% - 20% off. But If loose figures where C8.5 it would be more in tune.
But I might be somewhat off considering all my sparetime is on Ebay, so I spot all the "good prices". Must... stop... now.. I don't have anymore money this month anyway

C8 - Figures with the lowest collector-grade rating, have visible flaws, but do not look worn

You could get a Han Hoth in C9 near mint condition for half that price if you do your research and bide your time. I wouldn't pay £30. If you pay that much for a Han Hoth a whole collection will cost you more like 6K. I can't stress how important patience is. And besides it's fun getting a mint one at a great price...

With C9 minty I meant close to C10 (Nothing to spot on any of the ebay photos even with zooming in to study)

I might be very very picky atm and mistake C9 for C8.5.

C10 - The C10 rating represents perfection and is incredibly rare
C9 - Figures have minimal defects and are excellent collector-quality toys
C8.5 - Figures are in very good condition

Since if I see the smallest dot on a face or boots or even his hands (as the blue paint shines through easily on Han Hoth) as a C8.5 if they are really meant to be C9 for others.

I have become extraordinarily picky.

It's alright I'm a bit anal like you

I did the usual new collector error of rushing in and paying lots for graded 'mint' figures from the first 21.
No idea if i was ripped off or not and no idea whether to sell and start again or look to exchange.
Dont know if to keep on buying graded mint or loose mint.
I dont have a problem paying decent amounts for quality condition but as a bit of a paranoid collector if im paying big bucks i want them to be mint condition and stay that way so again storage and keeping them safe and in mint condition is another minefield for me as no idea on that subject either lol

Phew. I don't know if my mental compass is going way out of tune and starting to sound like a madman.
To help the Original poster as good as possible here is my examples of C7-C8.5

(older Ebay listings so we don't meddle with current trades) of Han Hoth.

C7

C8.5
One sold yesterday in an action yesterday, so won't list it with a link but that was £25-ish. Most would probably call it C9. Can't even find anyone in Ebay sold in UK that I would rate C8.5 except that one yesterday.

Dunno. I don't mean to be rude at all, just get a general bearing.

My guess is a
C8 collection with all variants is around £2700
C8.5 around £3500 as Lejackal hints.
C9 No idea as I don't have enough data yet to base it on, from my perspective and experience the last month.

I hear you with tuning in a focus can be tough at first.
I try and avoid graded figures. Mostly because I don't get the grading methods. Seems rather odd. I prefer asking sellers to provide more pictures on mint loose I like and decide myself. I find that approach more romantic and less scientific. I find the grading purchases "all too easy" Alltooeasy 8)

In the end whether you buy loose or graded must come down to personal preference and / or space.

Personally I prefer to touch, feel, sniff the figures. Ahh the smell of plastic... Brings back so many happy memories. You can also easily compare Coos, accessories etc which if you're collecting variants or unsure of Repro is a massive plus. Then there's the space consideration. 98 figures loose takes up far less space than 98 graded. And finally the cost...

You can see I prefer ungraded

I'm thinking I want just the original 12 as graded and the rest mint loose or baggies. Pretty set on that [i think lol]

This is exactly what I am doing, it is working out well for me as I don't have a great deal of display space.

I get to have the first 12 nicely preserved, and all the others are in clamshells that they can easily be removed from.

Sounds genius!

Hi all is anyone selling either loose mint/near mint version or a graded 85 and up version of the following figures needed. Not fussed what year they were released in or on what cardback they came. Just loose mint/near mint or graded 85and above please. Many thanks

Luke Skywalker both brown and blond hair
Princess Leia organa
Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2) solid dome
See-Threepio (C-3PO) fixed limbs
Stormtrooper
Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi both grey and white hair
Han Solo both small and big head
Sand People

Reading with interest. I have 81 figures being specifically only Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi all from the back of the 79 Card I had when I was 11. 81 also included the 2nd R2D2 and C3PO. I don't really have many weapons but most figures are in good condition even though I played with them when I was young. I have never seen another set in Australia, but I may sell them I think.

Really do need to get my collection out & take some pictures for this forum but finding the spare time to do it is proving problematic. I've got one of each basic figure (except blue Snaggletooth & pop-up R2) but a few have duplicates (if memory serves me right I think there's about 17 stormtroopers, 7 Jawas and several others with more than 1). All have been kept in 3 Rebel troop transporters (with exception to the half a dozen Gamorrean guards as they don't fit in the compartments  ) and all (except last 17 as I bought most of those as a collection from someone) have their original weapons (as a kid I played with them but always made sure everything was checked back in afterwards  ).

You must get them out of the transports, would be great to see them out in daylight!

Got some time off in a couple of weeks so plan is to get everything out, then take pictures and upload to here & Star Wars Tracker - wife & kids might have a say in things so fingers crossed

id say crank up the price on the imperial gunner and pop up r2 along with the a wing pilot.
r2 pop up 500 plus
imp gunner 175
a wing pilot 165
