UKGraders Questions.

I would use UKG exclusively if they didn't Ugrade and i'd like to think other collectors would do the same.

Yaeh me too Ron. I'm sure Steve will be back on here some time and the question will be here waiting for him.

A lot of my stuff I'm buying nowdays isn't graded Ron,someone on RS put it very well when looking at Robbie Mullan's U95 LXW

Someone thought they had just as nice example but the fact that it didn't have a sticker on it stating U95 just shows what a sad state the hobby is in.

I wonder if you get a discounted recasing/grading of items graded with the rarity scale if you prefer the new sticker without the stars?

Just a question I thought of for when he comes back :p

I thought UKG started this thread so people can them question then they disappear from here. When Lee asked them a very serious question

Hey Ron

I won't use them until I get a reply from this.

Just plain wrong IMO to buy figures on someones behalf then grade them for that person knowing who they are. There can't be any impartiality in their service if thus type of thing goes on

Hey Lee

I think its **** they started this thread for people to ask them questions.

You put forward a very important question least they could do is answer. But no they disappear

That's really bad form! I can't believe UKG started a thread asking opinions.....then can't be bothered to come back and reply :(

I'm going to wait now to see if they reply.....If they don't...then the items i was going to send them will be sent to AFA instead.

Has someone made him aware that there are unanswered question?

Hi everyone sorry for my delay on coming back on here to answer any questions I think what I am going to do from now on is come on every Monday morning and answer any questions on here.
It's not that I havent been on here on purpose I have just been extremely snowed under and I just forgot and I know thats no excuse so for that I am sorry.
I know how important it is to you guys to know whats happening and that you have lots of questions alot of you know me personally in the collecting world and have met me many times, so some of you know what has been happening anyway.
Below I will give you a heads up on what has been happening at UKG from late last year to this year.

To start with I didnt deal with the website for UKG, when we first started in 2008 the website was built by a friend of ours who was all up for coming in with UKG basically to cut a long story short I was getting fed up of the Archive not being updated, price list,Q+A,Main page and the order form I was constantly on the phone trying to sort things out, but I think the guy lost interest in doing it! Because I would ask for things to be updated and they never would be.
With us being a new business we couldnt afford to get a computer tech guy to help us with the website so I took it upon myself this year to take over the website and within the last few months there has been massive changes on the site, the archive was stook on 800 and now I have typed up to 1958, as well as new Archives being added and changes to the main page and just basically updating things, I am not a tech guy by any means but I am learning with it all the time and I feel I have done more in the last 3 months than our other guy had done in 3 years.
Also if you havent noticed on the website there have been changes for "U" grading now.
Also some of you know with us being a fairly new business there are 4 of us in total at UKG 2 of which are part time and just give us their outside opinion on grades and case items up.
I work 24/7 on UKG and consider myself the face of the company really, I am the guy to moan at(haha) and I am the guy to help out.
We are looking to take someone on full time to become our senior grader who will take that side of the job off me so I can consentrate on the rest of the side to the company.
A few of you who know me well also know we had problems with the company who made our cases, From the begining we said that we would purchase the machines as we went along which we have been doing over the last 6 months, we now have the unit fully kitted out with everything and we have poached one of the plastic guys to show us the inns and outs of it all so all case production now will be in house so there shouldnt be any delays.
Also you have probably noticed the labels have been changed which has bumped up the orders from the U.K and they have been getting a really positive response.
I know theres loads to read there and I apologise for any spelling/grammer errors.
I will log in every Monday morning and check back if you have any personal questions before that please email me at [email protected]
Just be aware it's another bank holiday this weekend and I wont be online my Mrs would hang me if I didnt spend it with her for a change haha.
Have a good one and speak soon.
