Just few questions about grading & acrylic cases.

I have a minty boxed Scout Bike on the way, and want to protect it. I presume the boxes are scarce to buy so was thinking of getting it graded. Grading will cost £30 + postage/insurance (Which is how much?)

Never graded an items so any advice would be appreciated.
What other options do i have?
I know there are sellers of acrylic on here, but do they do Scout Bike shaped boxes?

UKG do some nice cases, if they charge 30 quid then about 12 quid return postage and the postage u pay to get it to them you are looking around 50 quid so is that worth it to get it graded.

then theres sending it to AFA which will cost more, if its really really mint and u want a high grade then its up to you.

im sure there are people who in the UK make nice custom cases like Christian does which should be cheaper and you would save on postage too.

Also UKG do nice custom cases too but wont really be much cheaper than getting it graded.

Maybe worth to get i touch with them and see how much they are for the item you need it for and see how the price works out vs getting it graded.

Thanks for the info.

I'm not that fussed about grading to add to the price, but just think the snippet of info adds to it's display. I wanted one to protect the item more than anything. (How important are UV cases?)

It's £20 + postage to buy one from UKG. (Why they can't tell you straight up how much the ****ing postage is beyond me)

Will contact Christian to see what he can do for me. Is that his Username?

Evening gents,

Apologies to disappoint but GW doesn't (and currently can't) produce custom cases that are not part of our current range. My aim is to hold stock of each case being advertised (unless some monster orders come in and wipe us out - such is the current situation with the standard ADC-11 MOC cases) rather than offering low turnover, long lead-time custom case service. I'm sure that UKG will do a good job but regretfully 'custom' cases are not part of our business plan for the foreseeable future.
