Which is the rarer trilogo out of these 2?

I say Luke Hoth.

Nick Says Royal Guard.

Let us know what you think.

:)

I flipped a coin and it came out Luke Hoth... take what you will from that.

Not much in it between those two. A couple of years back the ERG seemed much easier to find than Luke Hoth but then a bunch of Luke Hoth's showed up too. I guess they are roughly the same as far as rarity goes (and that means that you both win :D )

Haven't seen many of either for a while now though..

Luke is more expensive of the pair but they are both pretty tough ones to get - I have the ERG but no Luke

Bugger - it was on my hit list but the only ones I have seen have been trashed or really expensive

I've seen about a dozen lukes and about five ERGs in the last year and a bit, through sites and traders. And definitely know more people with a luke than an erg.

There's no way in a million years I'd pay same for luke as I would erg.

Also saying luke is rarer when picking out one particular card/bubble combo is a bit redundant in the overall rarity :p

Yeh Luke Hoth with the small bubble is considerably rarer but ain't much in it with the typical tri big bubble type.

I agree with Nick on this. When talking about the general rarity of a particular figure, you should never start talking about variations IMO because it just confuses things.

Every Trilogo figure has a hard to find variation but at the end of the day, variant or not - it still counts as a Trilogo when you talk about general numbers.

I agree with Nick, I've seen more Luke Hoth's than ERG's and personally feel ERG is a more desirable Trilogo out of the 2, but that's just my opinion.
