transformer info needed

this may not make sense as i have had a liquid tea :lol:
are the g1 transformers and the reissues the same toys just different date stamps,after i have a mint loose star wars collection i am going after some transformers (prime ,megatron,prowel,jazz,soundwave,thrust,bummble bee and all the dinobots)
i want some info on the reissues as you can get a misb swoop for Ã'£30 where a g1 costs Ã'£130.

and i cant even focus to see if this makes sense, :lol: :lol: :lol: i am up at 5.30 am as well :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't think the re-issues are based on the same mould/toy as their original counterparts!! I certainly prefer the originals (80's) tbh! Actually the re-issue maybe the same but like you say with a different date stamp!

I know i have in the loft Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime a few others which i couldn't name without seeing pictures sorry!

The G1 re issues are the same molds, some have a couple of weapon changes but they are the same as the 80`s versions

I loved transformers as a kid!

That Optimus and Rodimus look very nice mate!

and Blitzwing brought back good memories, a tank a plane AND a robot! quality!

i have loads of transformer dvd but never get round to watching the .think i have the first 2 or 3 seasons then the movie

I recently sold all my box sets of the cartoon on dvd but there was some cool episodes made after the movie where starscreams ghost was in them plus when optimus prime was resurrected but he wasnt fully functional which were neat stories as had continuations in them showing the graveyard of all the transformers who died in the movie like jazz , hopper and ramjet

always loved the episodes best though when soundwave and rumble were in them, pity soundwave wasnt used more in the movie, hopefully that will change for the live action version
