A lot of the older collectors will know me, I used to be a big Palitoy collector and wish I still was but for lack of funds at the time. I'm thinking of collecting again but not quite to the same level I was. Just thought I would defend my old friend Toni. Quite simply Toni sells the best conditioned vintage Star Wars you can get anywhere in the world. Most of his stock Is literally case fresh. To his credit Toni had the foresight to buy off a contact huge quantities of Star Wars stock we mortals could only dream of. This was at a time when star wars collecting was in it's infancy. His stock levels are running down I remember over 10 years ago he had dozens of 41 back Han hoth Palitoys and 45a star destroyer commanders for sale. One wonders why they don't come up for sale very often. I remember Toni telling me how he found in his stock a number of trilogo jawas and letting them go far too cheaply.
I got some fantastic stuff off him over the years including the 30 back yoda he still has pictured, this was without doubt the finest carded figure I ever had. It was perfect and my biggest regret. It must be worth at least £1500 now. I sold it on to Ardy but who knows who ended up with it. Toni gave me first refusal on one of the finest palitoy collections ever landed. I had a few 30 backs, about 12 41 backs and some 45as. All were perfect. I even passed on a 41 back fett because I just couldn't afford everything. Another big regret. I still have photos of all my figures. Gary Smith ended up with most of them. He can testify how amazing they were and are.
I have landed some amazing palitoys over the years because it's important to get on with dealers.
Toni will only give small discounts because he has a comfortable life and he's not desperate to sell his figures they kind of sell themselves. I think he is relatively cheap for the quality of item you get and he's been around long enough to have dealt with some very odd and bad collectors enough to make
him not suffer fools gladly. You won't be disappointed.
Anyway I've rambled on enough. I must post some of my old pics when I get a chance........![]()
