Hi all,

This poster I have for sale was recently mentioned on the Vintage Rebellion podcast (episode 61). It's from UK artist Tom Beauvais who created it in early 1977 for the international release of Star Wars although it was never picked to be used for the campaign and was only shown for the first time a few years ago at the May The Toys Be With You exhibition which forum member Bonsai_Tree_Ent put on.

This poster is number 30 of a limited edition run of 295 Giclee Prints which are UK quad size 30X40 and are hand signed and numbered by Tom, they also include a signed and numbered COA.

Unfortunately this poster arrived to me with some minor damage (thank you postal service  ), with a few dents to the poster going along the centre of the orange Star Wars lettering. This can only really be seen with cross light and I feel that once this is framed behind glass they wouldn't be very noticeable. There are also a few dents to the top white boarder but again I feel the frame boarder will probably cover these.

These seem to be still available at this site for £275 plus £7 shipping and there is also more information on the history of it - http://spacefund.co.uk/star-wars-1977-tom-beauvais-print/

Due to the damage I'm offering this to UK buyers on the forum for £180 shipped in a sturdy cardboard roll so that no other damage occurs. Payment is through PayPal using a F&F payment or add the fees on with payment.

Please PM me with any interest or questions and thanks for looking :D

Ian

It is a lovely image and as mentioned I think it would display really nicely once framed so maybe this is just the poster you've been looking for
