Been back on the dreaded FB for a couple of days and pleased to say that the figure that started this thread (Leia Poncho) is now worth £50. So too, apparently is a feckin B-Wing Pilot. I know it's down to the weapon, but this is seriously stupid

I hope all the sealed computer games I paid peanuts for over the last decade are the next thing to rocket. Maybe I need to create a Facebook group
Ah ha, now we all know your cunning plan with the vintage SW games group

Yup

TIE Pilot £30, Black Palace blaster £75...

It's not just SW though. Some Action Force stuff is crazy too- Red Laser £75- snapped up quickly too. Pretty much double what they normally go for.

In fairness, there are some things that are sensibly priced, but there is still a lot of crazy high pricing that people are actually paying

Not that I agree with the price but lots of things have doubled in the last 2 years.

Things double in price in 3 months on Facebook

Am I missing something or is he asking the best acrylic case to preserve the graded acrylic case it is already in? He does know that the grading case has no bearing on the items value, right?!

You are joking right? The case is worth more than the toy

Regarding the meccano 65 back luc, there is a reason that there is only one graded.

Meccano rotj 65backs have an incredibly weak seal. This has been seen in a number of examples, even to the point where tape was factory applied to some figures. It is mentioned in Stephane's books as well. I have a taped example (not luc) and you can see how poorly held down the bubble is.

Shipping this thing, grading it, and then trying to ship it again is going to all end in tears for someone. Mark my words.

I hope the piece ends up in someone's hands safely and out of the case, but a little part of me hopes that greed here means he ends up £1000s out of pocket.
