Ahh, I love it when a plan comes together (loosely put together)...

Looking really nice. Glad to see it coming together so quickly.

Thanks apack. I'm off work for a week so making the most of the time. Bodies aching as got a bug but my mind doesn't care. Carry on...

Huh, there's me thinking all the hard work was done and up comes the painting (and that's just the base coat :S ). Bring back the cutting. On a plus side the LED's arrived today. Really chuffed with them, nice and bright...

Looking good tigerham, can't wait to see the final display, the LED's will look amazing :D

Russ :D

Those LEDs are like looking into the sun. Great job and it's coming together wonderfully. Can't wait to see it finished with your Mocs in it.

It's an arc reactor. :P

Last stretch. Building the boxes and installing the LED's as I go along. The end is near (I think)...

All the way tigerham!

*Groan. My body feels like someone's dragged it through a sandstorm then whacked it against a brick wall! :? Lol.

Relax time as have to let the adhesive cure for a day or two. :)

You're doing a stellar job! Well done on achieving so much in such a short time. This is coming together really quickly and I'm really looking forward to seeing the final results :-)

Looking good Tigerham, the finish line is in sight, really looking forward to seeing the finished product :D

Wow. That's seems tedious. How close are you once the frames are done?

To be honest it was nice and relaxing as I got to sit down while drinking some tea instead of kneeling on my knees or squatting, lol. Once the frames are done then all that's left to do is spray the frames, mount the display on it's hinges on the wall, fix skirting board on and just tidy up here and there.

Thank you for the kind words.

I have to say... 'damn!'...

The ceiling is wonky, not the display (will do something about that gap later).

And on hinges for easy access to the back (had to move the ceiling light for the display door to open so made a few holes, lol)...

And this is how it all started on computer...

Just got the finishing touches to do including a fixed boxed skirting board on the bottom of the closed display.

That looks fantastic! One quick question though having now seen the window right next to your display; what are you doing about UV protection? You seem far too sensible and knowledgeable to ignore the fading threat posed by UV, so will you have blinds up to prevent natural light falling on your MOCs? Do you have UV film on the windows (which helps a lot, but isn't perfect)? Or have you something else up your sleeve?

I bet there is a sheild that drops down from the roof like a false wall?
