My 5 year old son Zac came running up to me yesterday morning with a piece of paper in his hand and gave it to me. It's strange how something so small and random can have such an emotional affect on you. This is something I will treasure till the day I die.

That's great, I have one somewhere that my daughter drew for me ( I will try and find it) but it was me as Chewbacca, I had long hair and a beard then and her as Leia with the buns and white dress.

That's some nice pencil work there and looks like he's going to follow in his fathers footsteps. My 5 year old son's artwork is a little more abstract at the moment but he may well find his way making things like I did as a boy (and still on occasion).

Thanks for sharing and I'm still looking at your collection daily so I'll take you up on the offer of popping by one day if I'm your way. :D

Very cool. You must be stoked. Now go away and say "The Force is strong in my family..."

A golden moment in life there, you must be super proud, my lad has done some for me to, always brings a huge smile to my face.

Makes me remember a day at the glastonbury festival, many years ago, I was fly pitching selling a few bits with friends, suddenly a small boy no more than 6 years of age turned up with a few wooden blocks next to us as sat down & promptly started arranging bits of paper under the blocks which were to hold the papers down in the wind.

So I asked what he was up to, his reply was he had drawn some pictures to sell so he could buy his dad a present from one of the stalls, priceless! obviously I bought one & prompted everyone coming to my stall about the young man & his excellent drawings, soon he had sold them all & off he went with his blocks smiling the hugest of smiles, that picture was the most valuable thing I brought back from the festival that year, kids you gotta love them.
