I despise it when vintage collectors say "They are only toys". If that is the case, can I buy all your 12 backs for a dollar, then set them on fire???? Idiots.

He has a seperate account that does the same: galactables I believe.

If you check the feedback of both accounts you can see that 100s atleast have ended this way.

Holy ****! I had that in my watch list. Surprised it hasn't gone yet. Saw a TFP card in the same state go for around £15 this week, not from the same guy though.

I normally refrain from getting involved with these types of threads but enoughs enough.
I've heard folk say in the past "Oh he's just doing it to get by" etc, get by? Get by? He's got more combined value in the stuff he's peddling on ebay than I have in my entire collection the greedy twat. If he needs to "Get by" he could sell his Tri Hybrid graded Hammerhead!
Stop doing this dude, get by another way

The guy is ridicolous! He had an AFA85 Lil Ledy MOC Yoda for sale recently but after reading such threads as this I refuse to deal with him. Its ridicolous

I hate what he does - problem is we have 2 grading companies that do U Grades, giving him the platform to do it. Then there's the goons that insist of having U-grades, I wonder whats going on in the heads of people that want them. But we've been here before.

AFA don't give a **** what they U-grade, if somebody wants a mint MOC figure U-graded they will do it. Steve at UKG does U-grade but has very strict guidelines on what he will U-grade.

Wow that's a lot of U-grades!!!

Its definitely a vanity play. I feel some prefer personal ego over preservation, the items themselves and the community.

Its based on value rather than history so ugraders can show off there opulence as a projection of their personal worth rather than enjoying the heritage and legacy of something special that existed from childhood and on.

He must be awesome star wars collector, he has a ugraded VC Jawa.

No he's a prick, who uses is collectables as a crutch so he can feel like Duncan Bannatyne.

Note that ugraders always say we are jealous- which is a red flag that they believe that value is significant in our argument. Yes ugrader- you just exposed the reason behind your intention you moron.

Its defiantly a unbridled capitalist feel to the whole thing where personal gain is the only thing that matters, even at the cost of the majority of the community that have safe guarded these items for 30 years.

Even for the beater cards. I understand and acknowledge that many of the community wish to enjoy it, but because of more important responsibilities such as life, family, work and bills, cannot justify AFA 85 MOC- but would be delighted with a C4 ESB Cloud Car Pilot MOC.

These ugrades are happening every week. They are making a massive impact on a hobby that is already expensive.

Prices are increasing all the time and with the new trilogy on its way, more collectors will join and demand will stretch prices even more.

Dead horse? Really? Don't like hearing it- don't click on the thread.

Fascism, racism and sexism is a dead horse- best we don't ignore that.

I tell you what- i'll shut about this when others shut up about football and Jesus.

Its just toys? ok- and football is a kids game and Jesus is a fairytale.

That's weird- I thought the smoking would have stopped this monologue.

You're not wrong on any points there mate.

They should just stop Ugrading - end of. Doesnt matter what kind of card its from. A loose one is a loose one - theyve all been in a bin at the end of the line. We've all seen 'played with' ones in better condition than some on cards. Simplify the hobby - loose or moc/mib - and help keep its integrity and longevity.

It's time for the companies that claim to value the integrity of the hobby to stop offering it as a service.
