Home made :wink:

Qtr of red onion onion finely dices dust with flour pinch of salt and black pepper then a touch of sugar
Fry ( lightly caramelise the onions)
Then prepare 1/2 tsp of lea and Perrins sauce 1/4 teaspoon of mustard ( english) 3 to 4 teaspoons of bisto in a small dish then boiling water to the consistency of the gravy you like
Add to the onions on a low heat and stir until thickened, add more water if needed.
Mmmmmmmm...lash it on your mash and pies....STEP AWAY from the tomato sauce :x

I actually like red, brown or Mayo on chips. Pie has to be red or brown sauce. Battered fish with red or maybe even Mayo. Mash has to be red sauce and/or butter with gravy :) No way would I put vinegar on beans but Worcestershire sauce is awesome.

Making your own gravy is for southern fairies :wink: not got time for that Jamie Oliver ****
