The Mandalorian And Grogu - This time next year.......

So they currently have the release date exactly 1 year from now..... how's everyone feeling about this one ?

I've enjoyed the series, admitedly Season 3 didn't reach the level of the first 2 seasons but I'm hopeful for the film. Interested to see how they can elevate it up to a feature film, hopefully it won't just be like watching a condensed Season 4 but on the big screen - thoughts ?

I have to say - my hopes are neither high nor low, by which I mean - I think it will be a fun, mostly light, enjoyable watch, but much like the show it comes from somewhat forgettable and probably not worth a second trip to the big screen to re-watch, but happy enough to watch again on D+ literally a few months later, that is to say I think we are in for an enjoyable extended episode of the TV show, rather than a full blown movie event. I don't see it being the unicorn hit that Disney are hoping for, but it'll probably do decent numbers.

That said, I am looking forward to watching it, I enjoyed Mando S1&2 (S3 was a mess) but I also hope this is the end of the line for these characters, as I struggle to see what else they have to say.
