I've just received my Tantive IV.....going to build over the weekend. Apparently it's a bit longer than the 10198 version I already have.

Build took around 3.5 hours....no awkward moments :D

Top ship is the new 75244, middle is the 10198, bottom is the Mini build from LEGO store

Robpmarsh,
could you do me a favour and measure the new Tantive from nose to tail and let me know how big it is. Need to see if it will fit in my cabinet!
Thanks

Who's up for this?
This looks amazing, would go well with the Saturn IV.

Couldn't decide if this is better in sales thread or Lego one but went Lego as it is specifically Lego.

I have a full set of the Lego Star Wars Trading cards including the exclusive German LE21-24 cards all stored in collectors tins - and I will throw in hundreds of the Batman Lego cards (mixture of German and English and almost a full standard set) as well as som Lego movie 2 cards, storage file and things

Revising my estimate following a bit of research... 125 + shipping

PM if ally one is interested.

Nice one Rob, good price.
I've got one of these, guess where, yes still MIB in the loft!
No show at Sandown today, I expected to see you there...

Finally got the parts delivered to complete my SDCC Sith Trooper bust

A lot cheaper than the prices being asked on eBay right now

I've only got one set of Lego so would like to move it on - do I need to ask for a valuation on here or the modern valuation thread? If it's here I'll post the pic below just in case.
Cheers

If it's new and unopened £30-35
If opened and complete £18-23

Thank you for the valuation. It's 'new' from the point that I was given it as a gift x years ago (can't remember exactly when) and it's never been opened (standing joke in my family is that I don't open anything which my kids find funny yet strange at the same time)
I'd like to sell so is it best on this thread or the modern sales thread? I'm adding a few modern items on that thread either later tonight or tomorrow so this will be listed at the same time.
Cheers
Chris

So - anyone want to take bets on next weeks big SW Lego announcement.

roomers are ISD - lots of pieces £600+ - if that is true it might be my first UC pass, as much as i would want it, too big, too expensive and just no space for something that size (not that i have space for anything i buy now anyway...)

https://www.bossksbounty.com/lego/lego-star-wars-october-2019-sets

will likely pick up these sets:

75246 Death Star Cannon
75254 AT-ST Raider
75255 UCS Yoda

I'm busy collecting the more reasonably sized UCS sets atm (currently have the Snowspeeder and the Slave-1 is in the post right now), looking to get either the TIE Fighter or X-Wing next. No chance of getting the Falcon or any of the Star Destroyers as they are simply too big to display for me.

The A wing is high up on my list, as I don't have an example of that at all.
And yes, I would like to pick up a UCS TIE as well, but more so an Ewok Village.

Leaked images are up on instagram... Looks like a beast, but only 2 figures?
Waiting for official images and details later...

Finally got the Bricklink order through with the parts I needed to add a custom Landing Gears mod to my Tantive IV 10198. Why LEGO never did this with this and the new 75244 is a mystery.
