This year's May the 4th rewards and offers are up on Lego.
I braved the inevitable website crash and fake queuing system to cover it before finally getting to redeem points for the 25th medal at 1am...... Will head off to a store later today to cash in some more points for the Tie.
Quite like the look of that huge book that's coming out!

The book looks lovely - predictably that got ordered as well - I can't pass up a SW book like that.
Some of the money off on the Insiders rewards are half decent for once.

Looking forward to some May the 4th purchases.
Top of the list is R2

Cheapest so far is Smyths
Anyone seen him cheaper?

Cheers

Yeah - After 45 mins in a virtual queue which was masking the fact the Lego website crashed at midnight I was able to redeem points to get the 25th Anniversary medal/coin.
Then the next day popped down to a store and picked up the Tie and the 'gifts'.

The EP1 gift set is really cool, very substantial set.

I do like that coin 😎

Thanks to the discount they gave to VIP members and a lot of VIP points, got the AT AT for around £340

Depends on what you mean by 'knock-off' and the context of the post :)

Custom Lego is cool - especially minifig's where people have printed new stuff and accessories that Lego would never make (guns and the like) - that's where I think something isn't pretending to be official and is it's own thing - there are some amazing things out there.

Seeing 'knock-off' clone brands which are just ripping of Lego is interesting just to know what is out there, but the issue with clone's is the same as repro stuff - it is fake and there are too many people who know it and still try to pass it off as the real thing.

Saw some knock off lego minifigures at the weekend and to be fair, they were hard to differentiate from legit Lego apart from the plastic used is a bit shinier.

For anyone that is interested…

Almost all my Lego has gone to Vectis and will be auctioned on 7.8.24.
The auction catalog is now live and taking bids.
Please feel free to make huge bids so that I can retire in the style that I've become accustomed to.🙄
Many thanks in advance.

What a set this is going to be, and a reasonable (for Lego) price too.

If only I still collected Lego…perhaps I could start a new collection? 🤔

I took advantage of the Lego sale at Argos to grab this today. I'll post build pics as and when I get around to it.
