I found it easier to get a complete R2 than a Luke Stormie with the correct blaster, the dam thing still eludes me!

Didn't you get a stormie blaster in your Secret Santa present last year??

I voted Luke stormtrooper but I think in hindsight r2 is the hardest. That paper decal does it mine is well yellow. Ev-9d9 is up there. But like others have said none are that rare.

A tricky question, now if you'ld have made a list of the top 4 hardest last 17 accessories to find it may have looked like this...

Luke stormie black blaster
R2 pop-up saber
A-wing blaster
Imp gunner blaster

Some people don't realise the last 2 are different but they are! Pop up sabres are faked to hell, even kids owned them judging by how much childhood collections contain them!!!!

Luke stormie gun, we have the isn't the trilogo blue/black and POTF black only debate.

Tip by a droids figure, with the gun it'll work out cheaper!!

I think the Yak Face being rare thing probably originates from the days before Internet, when I was collecting in the early 90's I don't think I ever saw one in the model shops/toy fairs I went to

I would say Yak Face is the hardest figure for me to find, I have never found one in a danish childhood collection. So I think they are pretty rare here in my country.

If we talk about special weapons for the last 17, then I would say Luke Stormtrooper blaster or R2-D2 saber. But I still think his blaster is harder to get. I found a few of those figures in danish childhood collections, but the weapons was always lost

I'm one of those people. I thought they were both the same, the "Black Endor Blaster". Every day's a school day.

Another vote for R2-D2. I don't have many loose figures but quite fancied having this one.

Well after 6 weeks of trying to find a half decent one, with no repro saber and at a good price - gave up. At one point there were none on E-bay apart from one with with a repro saber and worn decals and the seller still wanted £50

Wha-a-a-t?!?

I knew there were two different molds...but had no idea they were specific to each figure! Has this been discussed elsewhere?

Seriously, who is voting for Yak Face??? :? Have i really bought that many that they are now actually "rare"???!

I just voted for Yak - a very British perspective on here (unsurprisingly). Fact is he wasn't made for the US market so there will be less of him than the rest of the last 17, but that diesnt mean he's rare

Also I've not been looking for last 17 so had to vote from memory. Luke Stormie with a true black blaster must be up there though

But he's still not rare. Anyone from any country can still pick him up easily. No effort at all involved at any point or at any time. Just money. Infact if you wanted to buy 10 mint examples in one afternoon, you could. Again, just need the money. That's not "rare" to me. You also see **** loads on the european sites and US site too so it's really not rare anywhere. Not by any definition of the word.

Pete - none of them are rare, all the last 17 survive in their thousands

He's just slightly less common

I thought this was a poll - no need to get narky with different opinions ;)

I wasn't dude. Not at all. Just expressing my point. Calmly and honestly as can. 8)
The poll is "the rarest" of the 17 i was just arguing that in my opinion Yak Face is not.
There's very little point in a poll, or any thread for that matter if we can't express contrasting view points.

If you was in Denmark they would be extremly rare, I think we have to buy them from you guys in the uk because there is not many in my country. I have bought a lot of childhood collections in denmark and never found one. But I have found a lot of R2-D2

Where can I vote for Anakin?

R2 gets my vote too, It's one of the only figures I've had to specifically buy the figure and weapon separately. Mind you I have got a little beauty.

How tough is a droids cartoon R2 to get hold of. I'll be looking to obtain one of these over the winter.

He was also made for the Canadian market (Trickled to the states) and those pesky tri-logos made their way here, as well. :D

I went for R2 too, very, very hard to find a good one. I luckily happened to be looking at the sales thread here a few months ago when one came up for £60 - bargain :)

Finding an EV 9D9 with arms intact/unrestored is bloody hard too.
