I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the Govt. for screwing up my collecting plans. Thanks to all the pratting around with Europe (are we in? Are we out?) and other market forces that they can't control (still, gotta blame someone!) the pound has taken a pounding and you if you want to go abroad or even buy vintage Star Wars from abroad you better take hard currency with you as the grand Pound Sterling is as firm as a marshmallow.

Just booked to take the family to the US and today I hear the pound is at a 7 year low against the USD. I'm a genius.

:lol: Welcome to our world bud, I think the Aussie $ currently buys £0.51 and $0.71 US. To think only a few years ago we were worth more than the US $. Ah..... it was a good time to be a collector.

Wow, if the pound is weak as **** at the moment and yet still buys $1.94 AUD, you guys are screwed :lol: I went to Aus way back in about 2006 and was getting a crap $1.80 to the GBP then. So, time for you guys to break out the cases of POTF Yak's you've got stashed away

I've noticed a certain UK toad is advertising almost exclusively in USD on FB now. Even though he's UK based and half his adverts appear on UK forums. Clearly trying to fall people into higher priced :evil:
