For me Tevez is too similar to Rooney, they are both short, fat and pug ugly !! :lol:

I would have thought Owen or even Anelka would have been a better buy for United as they have enough skilful players but need someone with real pace and whose a natural goalscorer, and instead they have bought someone identical to Rooneys style. :?

I'm not too sure on the costs as they are paying his wages for a loan deal but if he is a success there then it will prove a bargain. :evil:

I don't understand the prices this summer, Torres seems to have cost a bit too much as well. When chelsea are sniffing around you can understand it, but they've been quiet this summer :?: Though if he is banging them in for you lot then the money isn't a problem. He's got to be an improvement on the no necked angry welsh dwarf :lol:

Apparently we also got around 8 million for Cisse which isn't a bad price either !! 8)

I'm with you on that one Craig. I have a funny feeling he may not turn out to be the wonder player some people are expecting. He is undoubtedly a good player, but i just worry about him in the Premiership. Although he is young enough to be able to cope with its physical nature.

As for Tevez, there is something seriosuly dodgey about that entire transfer. I have a funny feeling IF we ever find out the whole story West Ham will turn out to have been VERY VERY lucky to avaoid that points deduction!
From what I can gather United are basing their apparent bid for him on Liverpools bid/signing of Mashcerano. So if we were able to sign him, I don't see there being a problem with United attempts. But Ã'£38million is a hell of a lot for any club!

They are not buying him for 38 million though, that is the (rumoured) total amount to get his registration for the loan deal and all of his wages over a few years.

I've been looking at the Porto winger we have been linked with on Youtube and if we do get him it will be a great signing !! 8)
