Test of the Palitoy waters now...

Hope they're all still there!

Ebay is having a few site problems, so listings and info keep disappearing.

I won an item last night, it disappeared from from purchase history half an hour ago but is back now.

The Palitoy Cardbacks are still there

All is back as you guys said and he's even found another DSC, how many does he have!

Suspicious bidding on theese, ive had a few bids but there is 2 bidders bidding uo the price and a dude with 53 feedback is winning the lot so far!!!!!!!just to suspect for me!!! I'm guessing some serious shilling going on

Well my estimate at value is way off the mark!! :o

Not sure if this is right or not but I guess a couple of people really want to put a set together although some of those really aren't in the best of shape and the buyer could have picked them up in better condition not that long ago. Maybe seeing them all there is too much temptation to let any of them fall through the net. It is a major problem though if the winner doesn't settle up and they get relisted.

Crazy times!

Well I'll be waiting for my second chance offer!!! PERSONELY, something is not right, every item going to the same buyer? Really

I'm not so sure that second chance will come due to the fact that it's still a lot less than buying a sealed set. Maybe something is off but let's face it, it's a lot of money to part with in one go for 70's empty packets!

Well I had a original footer and figure ready to go straight into the luke, but ide be fooked if I pay more than 250 infact im still having a word with myself fir bidding 250  I need my head checked :D

I hear you! I once paid around 90 for a Palitoy Luke 12 back card only and it came from the US!!! There hadn't been any card backs around for Luke for such a long time that I just took the plunge in the end. The one good thing though was that it ended up being the one I used to seal my Palitoy 12 back Luke cut card I picked up at a later stage so alls well that ends well. :D

Its not the cardback thats rare ive had 2 in the last month what is rare is a cardback with the bubble and thats rare

I've also been thinking that the bidding was a bit suspect. It seemed from the bid list that the 22 feedback fella and 53 feedback were going for every one. The prices are insane! I know the 12 back Luke is rare but I paid less than £150 for a reseal (all original with footer) under a year ago.

I can't find the final selling prices for these - eBay having a funny turn again?

These biddings look dodgy to me too?

Way too much for card back with bubble with damage ??

Obi-one Kenobi 179.99
Jawa 109.22
Chewbacca 162.23
Tusken 91.99
Luke Skywalker 255.01
C-3PO 112.01
Darth Vader 149.98
Han Solo 235.00
Princess Leia 170.89

Exactly ,why would anyone buy a c3po cardback with bubble for over a hundred quid when a 80 grade is going for under 500 ? Also Ive sold a few palitoy 12 backs on a 80 grade and none of them bidders put a bid on my items and they started at 99 p it just does not add up ? If there is shilling then hes obviously ****ed himself ,we will see if the bidding pattern changes on the other items because he has to actually sell some doesn't he ?
