Hi guys,

Just a quick note to day that I would strongly advise not to go anywhere near Talk Talk.

I've had enough of the the last 8 days to go into now, but this is the worst customer experience I've had.

I've never heard a good thing about Talk Talk. They entice you in with cheap deals but are **** at what they provide. Sky all the way for me!!
 
Really? I've had no problems myself so have been lucky. I too went with them as they had the cheapest deals, just entering my second year. Tbh I've had better connection with them than I did with BT previously.
 
Connection depends where you are

Talk talk are crap....throw out a deal then batter it until the bandwidth is used up and they are still selling it...so then all existing users get throttled, eventually all ****

As for customer service....pathetic, way down on their list of priorities

IMO. Orange are now just as bad especially since the EE situation, their CS is shite as well.

Feel your pain Maulster ...just had a 2 week running battle with Orange...gave up in the end :shock: :shock:
 
i had a run-in with talk talk and refused to pay the bill, got all the way to court letters and they backed down, they are ****, but to be honest most customer support and call centres are, because they are laid back students earning beer money.

im currently with plusnet and they have been good so far.
 
I'm just shocked at the customer service. I'm hoping it will go to court.

I've got ofcom involved. There is no way I'm paying for a service they aren't giving and I have no confidence in there abilities to resolve issues.

I was with Talk Talk for ages and it was fine till things went wrong.

I feel that they will do anything to avoid costs of fixing an issue and doceverything for the customer to pay costs.

They wouldn't believe that I had tried the line with 3 different phones, never call back, engineer fails to turn up, and when I call to resecudule, they say they had to start the tests again.

The time I spent on the phone was like talking to a stubborn child.

Never get angry- but these twats turned us psycho.

I understand that things go wrong and you can get bad service, but trust me- I wouldn't bother letting you guys know unless I really felt that you should avoid these ****ers.
 
the problem is they are a third party and have to go through BT so your basically waiting for them to ask BT, and if your not with BT they dont give a **** lol
 
Talk talk are pretty white Imo, I was with them for several year since they were tiscali. There service just got worse and worse, in the end I went with sky, I now get 17.5mb on a bad day with them, talk talk struggled with 8mb!!

As for deals check out topcashback, I got £120 for swapping to sky.
 
I'm with Talk Talk - internet speed is great.

However if you ever need to speak to Customer Service it's ****. It takes ages to get through and when you do the person on the other end speaks broken English. I once had to spell my whole address to the girl on the other end of the phone because she couldn't understand the word 'Gloucestershire' :roll:
 
I'm with orange EE or whatever you call it

Had an issue with my wife's iPhone stressed to heck, gone on for weeks :!:

Latest response extract below, which shows that even a dept within EE can't get customer services to respond to them internally! What bloody hope does a customer have :evil:


Again we apologise for the trouble you have been having but we cannot deal with this issue in our dept, we do not have the system requirements to perform the task as needed.
Please can you call 150 or 07973 100 150 and escalate this to a manager within customer services as they don't appear to be responding to our emails. I can also offer you the correspondence dept address and you can complain in writing regarding the service you have received.

I though this thread was going to filled with praise for the 80's band.... I love Talk Talk.

But I've never been with Talk Talk the ISP or whatever. They doorstepped us a while ago and my other half signed up. I cancelled it when I got home the next hour after reading the reviews...
