Swine flu

Managed to catch this yesterday so was sent home from work today. Anyone else had it? It's weird, not like any other cold/flu I've had before. Main symptoms are high temperature, cough and muscle pains, no runny nose or anything like you normally get.

Don't feel too bad and now have a few days working from home, so could be worse!
 
Hope you feel better soon Edd, a few friends of ours back in England have had it recently and they said the same as you, very strange flu with out some flu symptoms!

At least you will an excuse to stop by the forum a bit more ;)

(btw I had no idea you were a DJ in your spare time lol)
 
Swine Flue. F**k that. I dont want it... You could end up being one of the unlucky ones and dying from it.

Joe - yeah i spend more time doing that instead of collecting at the moment, I'm sure the balance will change at some point.

Edd Im glad your Ok. I thought this new flu was going to be the next pandemic going by the news earlier this year.

Well let's all hope you don't Die Edd (sure you will be fine!)

I would bet on the fact the people that died didn't know they had it or didn't get treated in time, with medication this goes away like any old flu!

Edd- hope you come back to collecting with a force, maybe surprise us with a full set of harberts or something :wink:
 
Nightmare Edd! My last feels like **** and has been on the website in the UK that tests your systums or something and reckons she got it now.

I had flu a few years ago man and it felt like i was dying for 3 days :|
 
I am an the watchout and get a bit obsessive about keeping my hands clean....i always get a bloody chest infection so i defo dont want oink flu.

get well soon dude ! but i have to say that the goverment done a **** job at controlling it from day one and now the vacine that they have gave a quarter of the uk is harmful to young children ! they have not got a feckin clue

Hey Edd, stay in bed mate. That's a nasty bug alright. It put my wife in hospital. Nasty bugger if combined with something else.
 
It knocked out the wife for 3 weeks, sorta comes & goes...she thought she was getting over it after 10 days or so, next day she's in am ambulance going to the hospital not breathing. She's pretty much over it now, but it was scary for a bit.

Bollux - I can imagine that if your in contact with millions of children then you must catch colds and flus all the time.
