Listened to it over a couple of days, loved every second of it.
Liked what you set out to achieve – inform, educate, entertain. Here's what I really liked and enjoyed about it –
I'm on this forum every day because I love SW & SW collecting and the community here is the best. Listening to the podcast expanded on all these things e.g. remember looking at Iains 3 packs on latest acquisitions but was great to hear a bit of background on their origins and numbers/availability.
For me it took the community feeling to a new level, there are a lot of forum members that due to travel distance will probably never make an organised meet up like furthest from, so getting to put a voice (and live personality) to a user name is pretty good.
I think the interviews with members will always be my favourite segment, would honestly love to hear what everyone's first SW memory and first figure/vehicle was as that's what we all share and have in common.
Thought the running time was spot on, have a lazy afternoon and enjoy it surrounded by your collection or split it over a few commutes. Something I worry about is the time I spend online looking for new pieces for my collection instead of looking at the things I have. As my wife points out I sit in a room full of my favourite things but I have my back to them and stare at a PC screen instead. I easily spend 90% of my SW time looking to buy things either from the forum or ebay. So I'm using the podcast as time I spend appreciating and enjoying my own collection – No searching while I'm listening!
As others have said thanks for the time and effort you've all put in, very much appreciated
Can't wait for the next one
