It was 20 years ago today, 11th December 2005, that I registered the starwarsforum.co.uk domain name. I want to say a big thanks to all members, past and present, who have contributed in some way over the last two decades. I'm especially grateful to those of you who still use the forum now despite the pull of social media.

Also a big thanks to @Blackbeard for taking over the reigns in 2021, I'm sure you will all agree the site has been running much more smoothly since then, it was a bit of a running joke that the site used to catastrophically fail every few years and I had to spend weeks fixing it 😂

Here's to another 20 years! :giggle:

20 years!!! You did a great job @edd_jedi get us started, as we wouldn't be here without you!

I can't wait to see what the next 20 bring! Especially with the 50th of the whole Star Wars setup coming to light!

20 year Anniversary - superb
Well obviously a big thank you for creating our favourite SW hang out and to the admins over the years for all their time and patience :)
You really did create a special place that continues to bring fans together in a positive way.
Cheers Blackbeard for taking the forum forward. As you said exciting times ahead (y)
Oh and it’s our wedding anniversary today so that makes the date even cooler

20 years wow.
I’ve only been here for 10 of those and seen some big changes over that time, but I still enjoy coming here and reading what collectors have to saying and what they have picked up.
Long live SWFUK.

Well, I feel old(er)

I remember joining sometime in December 2005 I think 🤔

Though for some reason my profile says Oct 2006

Because of one of said crashes probably.

Adding my voice to the choir: thanks for all the hard work Edd and Blackbeard, and thanks for creating a safe haven away from the 'social' media **** storm.

Yes the October 2006 crash was the biggest, I lost everything and had to start from scratch, I was very lucky that so many people were willing to help start from zero again.
