SWFUK Family Trip: ROTJ London 5th October.

It's exactly what I thought Martin when I saw your pic  very iconic and eerie the London underground

Agree with you Junior Chubb - can't help feeling jealous at these events - 400 miles is a bit far for me - would need to have it organised way in advance - but hey you never know I have friends and relatives stay in the London area

Just remembered a little thing that happened that night that made me chuckle.

The cinema is full, all seats filled when the Stormie's come in and stand in front of the screen. One of them then said:

"Come on now, I want every one to stand up, come on, now, stand up"

We all promptly stood up, I thought maybe they were doing it as Darth Vader was coming in!! Next thing is he's telling us we can sit down again, he just wanted to see if we would do what he says!!! Which we all did!!

Amazing the power a Stormtrooper suit holds!!!!!! :D :D

Great stuff guys..looks like you had a great time, great to see the SW gene has passed to the youngling s as well...SWFUK the futur 8)
Sounds like the evening was brilliant.

Martin ...I would have been the same...werewolf attack, I think the country hunt attire will have scared him off though :D

Great stuff guys v jealous we were there in spirit :D :D

Leo wanted to recreate the Falcon chess board scene, but doesn't have the correct figures, "It's ok Dad, 8D8 can be C3PO, Power Droid can be R2, and i don't have a Farmboy but Luke Bespin can hold the Emperors cane for a Lightsaber!" Excellent, i'd have never have thought of that :)
Love to see a kid's imagination go interstellar, nothing's a problem- there's always a solution :D

Ohhh The Shining and room 237 was showing I just noticed  - nice one
As we were filing out after our Star Wars experience, horror fans were turning up in their PJs for the Pyjama Party Double Bill :D It's a great cinema, Andy- very old school.

Nothing like a dash of Harris Tweed to protect yourself from the monsters of the night. That and a waxed moustache
