Finally Josh - I've had it with you trying to make me look bad. Trying to imply I'm going to steal some of the money, put more effort into prizes for certain members, or a few months back implying I was pulling an insurance scam when some of my collection turned up. You are just a nasty piece of work, and if you think you can talk about the owner of the main forum you hang out on like thet, always with zero evidence may I add, you're mad. Kindly f**k off and troll somebody else's forum. Consider yourself not welcome any more. You've had plenty of chances to show you have good character, but you've really blown it now.

Congratulations Chris, Hope you enjoy what ever you do get and It wouldn't bother me either if you where given the cash towards something your already in to.

As I said earlier, congratulations Chris and thank you so much Edd for taking the time and effort to go to the hassle of sorting out a new PayPal account and getting everything sorted and then doing the actual draw!

This place is superb and we really are a great forum that has shown its kindness and generosity towards one and another time and time again and I am gutted that such a brilliant event has been turned into a sour one.

I really do hope that this can be sorted and there gets to be another one next month.

Waiting with anticipation Chris, can't wait to see what he gets you!!

Hopefully, we can forget all the madness that happened after the winner was announced, use this as a lesson learned so to speak and hopefully so long as Edd is willing to carry it on(please say you will Edd), part 2 next month will be just as enjoyable as this was.

Edd, I think I can say that everyone that entered this first one would love it to carry on. Please don't let what happened turn you away from carrying this on.

Yes I've banned Josh, it's not the first time he's tried to start untrue malicious rumours about me. I'm not putting up with it, this forum is about as laid back as they come but that just takes the piss. If he feels like apologising then maybe it won't be a permanent ban, not counting on it though.

Missed all this. I skived off for a few days and a bitch-fest breaks out.

I can see Chris' reasons for asking to get the prize in cash, and I can see the logic behind people not being keen on cash being handed over.

It's a shame that the whole raffle idea has been overshadowed by this though.

I didn't enter the comp as I honestly didn't think I would get anything I would want for my focus. However I thought it was a great idea and a good way to bring the community together.
It seems the vast majority seem in agreeance with that apart from a certain person,who if thry didn't want to enter or like the idea should have.just kept their beak out in my opinion.

This whole thing turned pear shaped pretty quick, it was agreat idea and for the most part it worked extremely well.

I don't know Josh from a bar of soap, I know he could come across a bit harsh at times and was certainly one to speak his mind ( almost to a fault ) and yes going by this thread he went too far with personal comments but lets not start sticking the boot in.

It's a **** situation and I know from personal experience Josh has also been one hell of a generous bloke for other members behind the scenes.

Time to move on and get back to what this thread is supposed to be about, good will and a strong collecting community.

Thanks once again Edd for organising the comp, consider me entered for the next one.

From outside looking here, Ed you did a fantastic thing here organising this comp. I tip my hat to all of the participants involved who chipped in and also helped make this happen. I wish i wasnt such a lazy cu*t or I would have joined in myself. Anyway Kudos to all of you.

With regards to Josh. Ed I think banning the guy may have been a bit harsh dude. No disrespect intended Ed. If you know Josh like I think most of us guys in the hobby do then you know they guy is a good guy. He is alot like myself with regards to just speaking his mind. I know in my early days here I got a few warnings myself for speaking my mind. :mrgreen:

I like both of you guys so I hope you both can build a proverbial bridge and get over this small incident.

On the subject of prizes I was wondering if people would take offence to me putting the prize money towards a purchase I have been working on for a while now. I only have a few monthly installments left to pay on it and this money would really help move me towards the finish line... and before anyone asks: yes it is a 3 pack! :wink:

My concern on this was that it seemed Edd was going to send the cash to Chris, even when Edd said there weren't going to be a cash prize, and changing
it after the draw was over was not what I entered for. Hence the dodgy in my previous post.
I did not mean to badmouth either of them, when I read the post by Chris it just looked as if we were taking that route in spite of the agreed upon rules for the
competition.
I love this forum to bits, and would hate to see it go down the drain because of this, and I'm hoping the bad blood will be good again, because this is where
I hang my hat, and all the different characters on this board make it what it is, trolls and fairies alike. :lol:

I would like to thank Edd for setting this up, it did make the login on friday more exciting for sure,
and if there is another competition, I will definitely be in again, I just want the rules to be set before we send the cash.

Yeah we need one of those. Way to much beating a dead horse going on. It is fine to voice your opinion on here but I think once you have made a point it is time to drop it. Stressing about reality and life is hard enough, let alone getting wound up about mystery prizes, toys and a fiver. :wink: Other than getting worked up by the occasional Troll, I have had to take a step back and tell myself to calm down from time to time....it's just not healthy to get angry about dumb ****........when put into perspective.

I have absolutely no problem with people speaking their mind. I would also have no problem with somebody 'outing' me if I ever did do anything dodgy. I see myself as one of you guys and expect no special treatment. I'd like to think the dozens (maybe hundreds) of buys, sales and trades I've made on here over the last 7 years have earned me any respect I may have, not merely the fact I run the forum.

What I am not tolerating is repeated malicious personal attacks against me (or anyone else) based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever, in this case before anything has even happened. And that's exactly what Josh has done on more than one occasions over the last 6 months, both in public posts and behind the scenes. I've barely even spoken to him let alone sold him anything or 'screwed him over' so I've no idea where his low opinion of me came from. If Josh doesn't like me or trust me enough to give me the benefit of the doubt over a stupid £5 competition, and with that can't restrain himself from flaming me for no reason, then he shouldn't come on my forum.

And for what it's worth I don't even have a problem with him myself, like I said I don't think we've ever even had a personal conversation.

Just like to say that i hope this comp does carry on and i have no problem with whatever the winner chooses/gets. Only been on here since the start of the year and since then i've gotten a full run of loose figures and started a focus/ROTJ moc collection, which is all thanks to the many people who have helped me on here.

I think that Edd and the rest of the Mods do a great job


Now i'll shut up and go back to being quiet
