Am I being overly cynical or is it very strange for the first item someone bids on to be one worth over Ã'£1500!?

It was an AFA 85 AT-AT.
The bidding was at $3,333.00. A newby, with zero feedback, put the initial bid in then someone else put a huge bid in (but it only went to a few $'s over the newby bid) then the newby re-bid and god only knows what he had bid as it shot from $80 to $3,333.00.

Obviously if your new to Ebay the first thing you wanna bid on is an AFA 85 AT-AT, and your obviusly gonna wanna pay over Ã'£1,500.
I guess it must have been shill-bidding or the seller would have just cancelled the newby's bids.
