Stormtrooper Face?

Hi Guys,

I bought this MOC a few months ago. Whenever i look at it i think it's helmet seems a bit different.
There seems to be more black around it's eyes than any of my or my sons loose stormtroopers.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Probably something really simple, but it just doesn't look right to me. The card itself seems fine though.

I got this from Blutch on RS Jez, I have a similar loose one with the same poor paint job that I got from Iain.
And I've seen several carded ESB stormies with the same sloppy paint, my guess the QC got lazy in the ESB line. :lol:
I wouldn't be worried though.

It bears resemblance to the LL stormies as well with the mouthpiece being all black too.

Thanks mate, both Iain and i just discussed the same thoughts.

I knew the card was fine, just thought it was a bit weird looking.

I didn't want to put on a comment such as "Sloppy Helmet Job" as i thought that it may raise a few eyebrows and incorrectly divert a few folk from internet search engines, who were looking for something else!!
