Stay Strong France

Reports saying its a reprisal for killing jihadi John. Just terrible, these people dont think straight, they cant be bargained with or talked down. Trouble is how do you stop such people who are obviously head cases ??

Terrible terrible news, absolute disgusting actions by absolute monsters. Heart goes out to all those affected.

There's no way they would be able to plan and co ordinate an attack like this so quick after Jihadi John was supposedly killed. It was only the other day.

Such horrible news. Really can't understand what some of this human race has turned into sometimes.

Another attack, god this is horrible, all those poor people, words fail me they really do, our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected

Sadly it depends on your point of view. In their eyes, the West are the bastards bombing their land with drones, and this is retaliation for that.

If everyone could just stop killing people and accept we're a world of different races and views, we'd be fine!

Horrible events over in France over the weekend, with 130 or so needlessly killed by radicals.

I did hear a whole bunch of arrests were made this morning, which is about the best thing we can expect in the aftermath.

Best wishes to everyone over there....

Ian

My heart and best wishes go to all those effected by the cowardice act of fanatical terrorism. Not just those in France but to all those around the world .

These fanatics use religion as an excuse. It's not about being Muslim, ****ing ISSA are murdering innocent Muslims every day. These ISSA terrorist ****ers in Paris are weak minded fools who can be radicalised on a whim. They are jacked up on drugs and watch porn. They treat women like ****. ...so if they are retaliating to the west why the **** are they bombing Muslims in Beruit / Pakistan Afghanistan and Iraq. They want their shitty ideals to conquer the planet. And subject everyone to slavery. Yes it's born out of anger but ultimately they want power.

Peace to the world.

The reason I remembered about this was because a guy at work has said he has tickets for the games.
He planned the trip over a year ago with his little lads. Now he's taking second thoughts about going incase something terrible happens.
I suppose I am not in his situation so i don't know what I would do when the time would come.
I am thinking if i had tickets I would go myself but I wouldn't want to give him any advice.
I suppose it's better to let him decide himself because nobody can be sure.

Mate we grew up in Norn Iron when the troubles were going on!
When it's your time it's your time. Simple as. If you live your life scared of what might happen or not going to events like that in case of the worst you're missing out on some great experiences and giving the terrorists exactly what they want.

I say, go, enjoy yourself (or tell your mate to enjoy himself) and as long as you don't do anything daft the chances are you will be fine.

Like weaz said though, if it's going to happen then it's going to happen, the fear will always be there because the threat is sadly quite real but it shouldn't stop anyone from doing what they want to do.

The reality is that us humans are capable of dying at any given moment and it's better to enjoy life and do the things you want to do rather than play it safe in the hopes that you reach 90+ years of age yet have no fun stories to tell anyone because you never went anywhere or did anything.

Thanks for the replys and you guys are right you know. As you say what's for you won't go past you. It's a shame things are now like this in the world. But your correct the only way is forward. And all we can do in life is enjoy ourselves and respect others as much as we can because life's not a trial run!
I hope we all see the day when there's peace all over the world.

We are here for but a fleeting moment in the scheme of things,
From Our first breath till our last, as we take up our Angel wings,
We can only strive to do our best each and every day,
There are songs to sing and games to play,
Then each night as you lay your head to rest,
Into slumber go, knowing you've done your best,
For loved ones, for neighbours, for all you meet,
If you can help, even a little, then life is sweet,
To covet riches, wealth and gold,
Will leave you empty as you grow old,
So leave your mark as best you can,
That is I say the measure of a man
