star wars 12 back repo's / recards

Alright peoples.. would of thought this was touched on but would like to know how to really tell the difference
between a genuine star wars 12 back card and a reproduced recarded one..they look really good on feabay and sellers
do say recarded but how does an expert like yourselves tell? without being ripped off by someone..
I think it should be illigal to sell such good recards with no distinguising features..Tony

There is no one way to tell. Some fakes will have everything wrong - print, colours, bubble, alignment etc where as other, quite good, fakes might be harder to spot and it might take a more expert eye to tell. There are several fakes out there that could fool at least half of relatively experienced collectors. I would suggest if you're unsure, or even if you're fairly confident. message someone here or post in a thread and ask. Someone will always be able to help.
