Star Tots - What are they?

I see Shawn already answered the question, but here are the images of the unproduced concepts.

Due to cost, and coupled with the fact that LFL would not let the collectors make actual 3D "figures", the CVI Star Tots are basically figural shaped "coins" or "medallions" cast in heavy metal and colored with enamel inlay. For "freebies" they are pretty cool. Better than the cereal box give aways from CV, in my opinion.

I think they look cool. Would have loved a few had I been able to go to CVI.

I have all the coing from CE but think I prefer these Star Tots! 8)

The Star Tots were by far the coolest and most desirable items at the show, the design team did a great job bringing these to life and everyone from seasoned collectors to young children loved them.

I sponsored the Han Solo Star Tot and have just photographed my set including the mould, unpainted samples and plaque which you can see here if you are interested.

These were okay and kind of a neat idea/concept to reality situation.....but some of the prices that people are commanding for these are simple stunning. Ebay and private sales. To each his own. Yes I wouldn't mind owning a few but not till all the hype calms down.

Like I said...they do nothing for me....a nice memento If you actually attended. Kinda of like wearing a shirt for an attraction you never went to.

I have no feeling whatsoever about these. They look like dozens of other modern productions from the last decade or so. If they're about a tenner each then fair doos. I can see wanting to collect a few but if they go for any more than that then no one should be buying them. I personally think if you're the sort of person who will buy these then you'll basically buy anything to do with Star Wars. I can't fathom spending 20 quid on one of these instead of say an original vintage figure or cheap carded trilogo.
