Spoons' Whole Collection - the Toyseum - updated on page 2

Thanks Lars - not a SW couch but a curtain over a futon

Looking back at this thread I think it is time to move the room round again - I preferred it like this

Still looking great with the curtain over a futon :D

Sorry if I gave you some extra work with the room  , I hope you will show us new pictures of that room when you have moved the room round again

I have added a few things and have a much messier room since I first posted this thread, and after a bit of a tidy today I thought I'd share some new pics.

Here's my updated Die Cast TIE run and a few pics of the rearranged shelves. The lower shelves are to distract my 3 year old daughter - the baby mentioned int he first post. She loves playing with the Britains space and micro machines and leaves the rest alone :D

I've also had to spread out of the toy room and have a detolf in the bedroom - a slippery slope, but a very understanding other half

Cheers chaps - I've an odd ball item for your expertise Grant. It will appear in latest acquisitions shortly but if you look on the lower shelves you may just see a SW gift set. Picked it up from Donny toy fair today and it has sealed pen tops

Thanks guys - the die cast stuff is massively underated and good value as a result. Only 12 backs to be had for less than £100 :)

Fantastic collection you have there :D

So who are the two alien characters sat in front of the Tie mailer box, star raiders?

Really nice to see such a great grouping and love the various focuses in your collection.

Top man!

Ian

cheers Ian - they are indeed Star Raiders, two of the few items left over from childhood (a swapsie with a mate if I remember right). The loose sandperson and rebel soldier were found in my folks back garden about 10 years ago :D

I've got to ask, how long did it take you to amass your collection?

A very fluid process. Been collecting loose since 1991 and carded since 2006. Sold and rebought many things in that time, and seen a lot of collectors come and go :)
