U can't slag Besty off for his footballing ability!
The man was a footballing genius, his choice of life style is fair game for abuse but his football skills put him up there with the best.

Abviously being from Northern Ireland I'm not biased in the slightest!

my dad told me once , he was watching him at cambridge( cup game) and he was playing 1 2's off the opposing defenders legs :shock: he was a genius
as for his lifestyle, women, drink and gambling ( alright the bloke wasn't alan shearer) i think he enjoyed himself

doesn't mean he wasn't a genius

i think blokes that hit women are just weak arseholes, but bestie was still one of the greatest if not the greatest, as tyson was the best boxer and osullivan the most naturally gifted snooker player ... maybe there is a reason that these people all have there demons but perhaps thats what makes them special. look at gazza, or cantona something seems to make them press the self destruct button . and to be honest if rooney didn't have fergie watching him i think we would get in to a lot more trouble than he does :roll:
