I know card backs have risen in price but I fail to see the value in this lot

Pretty sure no one's getting back doored on this deal but I'll remove the link if it's a problem.

Ian

Link taken down by Jason's request. Just shows you I know nothing

Wow that's nuts. Hell, even the 2nd under bidder went OTT at £31 + P&P if you ask me

As with the 20 back DS Droid the other day, simply 2 folks putting in nuts numbers expecting to win....but not at that price. I guess the 2nd u/b will be getting a 2nd chance offer at some point

Link removed, we'll save that one for another day and hopefully Jason can shed some light for us all.

Posting up links of recently completed eBay auctions that you do not understand the value in highlights the auction to other parties who will try and bsckdoor the auction.

Admin, please delete this thread.

Edd, can we have an auction outing rule on this forum?

It's getting ridiculous now. Every card back auction of note is outed on this forum hours after it has completed on eBay.

Cheers Jason

Jason outing has been discussed recently on the below thread were not going down the RS route of an outing rule. there are lots of interesting points check them out.

lets hope all this 'outing talk' will make members think more before discussing active of recently ended listings of real 'collecting interest' in future

I had the same thing with my recent Uzay purchase on ebay, and had 3 people try and backdoor me :(

Thankfully the seller was honest and honoured the deal and told me there names!!!

Out live auctions whatever, but I'll rant again- recently ended auctions should be off limits. FFS Blarc's name only just came back up again: http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1121099/

I don't even need to see the link to know what they are. Stef's example should be evidence enough. http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25239&hilit=rant
And this is not the first time it's happened to Jason. Not even a week ago Joe mentioned it

and Jason started a debate on auction outing as he was unhappy that something he had won was being discussed a few hours after he had won it (fear of being backdoored!).
Jason mentioned it in the R5 thread

I think we definitely need a vote on this one..I'm all for a no auction outing rule but I appreciate that others don't think it's a big deal. We will have to see what happens and go with what the majority think..

I'll set one up while Edd is away on his jollies (how many holidays does one man need each year??! )

Please refer to this thread to have your say on auction outing: http://starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=25940
