Should U grades be banned!

But why would you want to do that if you can do it like the other guy apparently did?

Exactly Emiel the reason is the are impatient greedy label collectors with zero respect for the rest of the hobby why wait for a beater example to come along when its quicker to target a MISB example.

For the record I don't have an issue with trashed moc's bad beaters been opened.

He has an R2 focus, it is his last resort and I keep pursuadin' him to leave them alone! lol

Unless he wants every loose R2 he has (including the wind up Takara) to be U graded I see no reason for this.

Hey, its not going to happen honest. Just thought I would comment as I thought it was funny that it was being discussed and I know someone wanting to do something similar. He would settle for a regular 90 etc etc. Like I said I have talked him out of it a few times now.

it is yes, just an example of what the market is doing to carded figures.

He's just bought a Luke Gunner ROTJ off me...i hope it hasnt got the same fate.

Hello,

Yes those cards are mine. There is a very big market for loose 'uncirculated' figures. These cards once housed a good chunk of my personal loose U85 collection which I might sell soon. All variations, if anyone is interested :)

Robbie forget the profit for a second have you ever thought about the damage it is doing to the hobby?

Literally thousands upon thousands of MOC's have been destroyed in the last year and its clear you have played a big part in that. There isn't a large or endless supply of vintage sw mocs out there.

Many moc collectors are finding it much tougher now to find certain figure card combination's. In fact the amount of moc's listed on ebay now is 50% less than a year ago. How long do you think this can be honestly sustained?

There are many people who appreciate the 'u' grade. I didn't get involved in the Rebel Scum debate because I would only be wasting my time. I am not going to get involved in a debate here either. I personally prefer carded figures myself, but I have no problem sending carded figures for loose 'u' grading. They look fantastic, and I get many quality cardbacks that I would otherwise never have got.

Many of you guys have dealt with me in the past and have even bought 'u' graded figures from me.

It's 'horses for courses', and you would be surprised how many people actually collect 'u' grades.

It is like watching an endangered species numbers in rapid decline knowing theres nothing you can do.

Rare MOCS will soon be extinct!
