Hello chaps,

Sadly it's dawned on me I need to sell my vintage collection, tough times etc.

It's a pretty big loose collection and an almost complete loose collection of figures (missing a couple of weapons) also have a snaggletooth. Lots of ships and playsets. Though wont be selling the falcon or at-at as I've had them since I was a kid.

Basically, would you suggest selling the collection as a whole or individually? Do people buy whole collections? Tomorrow I will put a list together what's in the actually collection.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Cheers,
Rich.

There are a few lads on here that will make you decent offers for your whole collection depending on if they like what they see mate but if you happen to go down the seperates route it will also save you time and listing fees if you get rid on here individually. I've seen a few bits i would be interested in so will pm ya just incase you go down that road. Shame you are getting rid it looks like it's taken some time to amalgamate the nice looking lot :(

Iain buys whole collections quite regularly, might be worth giving him a PM? Good luck with the sales buddy, if I wasn't holding out for a few other bits I'd take the blue snag off your hands.

Land of the jawasHello all - Been a while since I've been on here. Wanting to sell some of the items off as they are gathering dust in a cupboard. Will put on eBay if no luck here.

Vintage Star Wars Land of the Jawas Playset BOXED
The play set is in great condition considering it's age. The set is complete and displays beautifully – natural wear and tear on the cardboard sandcrawler backdrop - the cardboard has the predictable creases and knocks associated with age and kept in storage for a long time. Hopefully you can see this in the image but I can provide more pics if ness. The instructions are in German.

Vintage Star Wars Imperial Attack Base Palitoy BOXED
This playset is complete (minus instructions) and in great condition. Still bright white. The box has had a few fights but still in a display worthy condition. All mechanisms and the gun click works.

Vintage Star Wars ESB Dagobah Playset BOXED COMPLETE with ORIGINAL SWAMP
This is in great condition and still retains some of the original swamp foam. Though very fragile so its covered in some plastic to help protect it. Box is in great condition and all mechanisms work.

Jawa sand crawler. Electrics not tested, missing ladders,
Jabba (complete but no box)
Max rebo band (some damage)
Selection of mini rigs
Rancor (arms are glued on though, but enthusiastic as a kid)

Cheers for all the email guys.

Have to say I have 100% chickened out of selling it. Spent two days moping around thinking about it and can't bring myself to part with it.

Sad eh?

Thank for all the emails though and I'll prob start adding to it again soon.

Special thanks to Iain who has been a wealth of information.

Cheers,
Rich.

A galaxy far, far away...
Although I REALLY wanted to get my grubby little paws on this collection I am very happy you decided to keep your collection and add to it rather than sell.

:D

Good luck with your next buys, lets hope they're good ones!
