Secret Santa 2013 - 1st Sept cut off date

This sounds awesome, though I am worried that my being a relative noob and my lack of posts may hinder my being able to participate. Im a reader, not a poster! Haha.

Had another PM. A question about me being in the draw which I suppose is fair enough as I will know for certain the person who sorted me out.

So.... I'm open to suggestions on this but I can see any of the following:

1. I don't take part.
2. I only do an outgoing gift - which I'm fine with
3. The next person who joins doesn't make it publically known but PMs someone. That person gets me so I don't know them. I'll put them in the hat as person X and a 3rd party sorts that out.
4. If anyone doesn't want to send to me then just let me know and I'll make the allowance accordingly.


Any ideas?

For a secret Santa the person you send to is not (usually!) the person you receive from. Otherwise it isn't a secret.

I think I confused a few people in my first post for saying 'pair up.'

You should be in the draw, Richard- and there'll be no question of you not taking part. It's only a bit of fun, and at the risk of making this incredibly complicated, I vote we just carry on as we are. It doesn't bother me that you'll know your Secret Santa. There's my two-penneth

I'm fairly new on here and haven't posted much up yet but would loved to be involved in this, I'm reliable and have purchased I think four times on here and everything gone smoothly so hopefully youll let me play (hate to be left out of anything)

Also although organising it you should definitely be involved, your idea and organisation so you should enjoy it as well as everyone else.
