That's what i was going to suggest. Not sure about giving cash but pairing people up within their country might be best. I just paid around £27 for postage on three card backs from Pennsylvania, which is a lot. Don't want to keep harping on about it but some of us on here aren't as well off as others. Maybe people could be given the choice of international or not? :idea:
As for who can take part how about a combination of at least two of the following - post count over a certain amount/good feedback thread/date of account registration/showcase thread. Most regular users have at least two of those 8)

Good idea getting this sorted so early.
I think between them Dennis and James have solved the bulk of the issue with postage costs to overseas members.
The only issue I see, is one I think cropped up a few years ago whereby one member never received their SS present. Their SS claimed he posted it but it never turned up. I can't remember the names of the people involved, and I've no reason to suspect the SS didn't post the present, I just know the person left with nothing to open was understandably disappointed.
Not entirely sure how you prevent that from happening, items will get lost, and as it's a £25 (ish) budget it's hardly worth paying for recorded delivery. Possibly get the guys to keep the receipt just in case the item does get lost.
Anyway good luck with it all guys!
