Robbery in Knowle, Hampshire

Theres some real assholes out there..... even though in Edd's case it may have been a bit closer to home, its so easy for strangers to get your address, for instance if u got a huge collection for sale on ebay, only takes one thieving scum to win an item and they got your address and know what stuff you have.

I can see why some people use P.O box numbers.

same goes for the dealers at the shows - only takes someone to mention a particular dealer/or items to a local smackhead outside the show and he/she will pinch anything they can get there hands on if they think theres money in it - will make no difference tho them if its vintage toys or clothes from the local department store, if theres a market there more than willing to steal it to fund their habit

Hi All,

I know this is my first post and everything and I have not introduced myself properly but read this yesterday and thought I should post just in case anyone is offered anything on the cheap...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/jul/23/film-memorablia-stolen-hampshire

Obviously mostly DVD's etc but thought it might be of interest due to "The Star Wars figurines are complete with display cases and original cards which adds to their value."

Andy
i wish you had been so caring when it came to business!!!!!!!

Wookie, I noticed you had an issue with Andy on RS, I would appreciate it if didn't spill over to this forum as well. Let's keep this thread on topic about the robbery and perhaps Andy and yourself can resolve this issue in private (where it should be done)

Thanks guys.

If anyone does manage to get a list of what has been taken please do post it up so the community can keep an eye out for it.

STAR WARS figurines worth as much as £20,000 have been stolen from a Hampshire home.
The Star Wars figurines are complete with display cases and original cards which adds to their value.
Anyone with information please let me no

the incident took place only about half an hour away from All The Cool Stuff here, I know several toy collector in the same area (Transformers and GI-Joe guys mostly) and one off-the-radar AFA collector who is not far from there, but it not anyone from that group of collectors, BUT from what they think the value reflects the whole lot (Blu-rays etc) not just the Star Wars element alone.
