RIP Scott Weiland

I'm sure anyone familiar with the guy isn't surprised, but former lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, Scott Weiland passed away yesterday at only 48 years old. No cause of death given, but with his history, it's likely due to his struggles with abuse.

He left behind a legacy of great songs. In my opinion, one of the only vocalists from the 90's on that mattered.

Am a big fan of his music and will miss his creativity and beautiful song writing ability.

Yeah it's really sad that these very talented artists/people are tormented by their demons/drug addictions I think Eddie & Chris will be around for a while though

This is really no surprise. He was offered help so many times but couldn't do it. I wasn't actually a fan of him or his voice but appreciate he had a following.

Legend! One of the great bands of my youth Stone Temple Pilots, very much defined grunge and the Seattle sound. I love his voice and still listen to them occasionally now. Sad day.
