Bought a Highland Toffee bar for my wife (anything to shut her gob) and was amazed at how small it was. And Wham bars. I swear you had to handle those things with two hands as a kid they were like a foot long or something! It's really disappointing to see these companies ripping us off by giving small price increases and reducing volume at the same time.

Can anyone remember Pacers? They were the same shape as Chewits but were chewy mints with green and white spiral pattern on each wrapped chew. They alternated between green and white. I loved them. When did they disappear?

Was telling my son about Chocolate, Hedgehog and various other flavours of crisps too that we used to be able to get. Tudor crisps were tasty :D

I agree
Only saying the other day, flakes are much smaller, mars bars and Marathons are as well ( refuse to call them snickers)

Remember pacers well,

Do you remember a bar called a Texan bar?
Coconut tobacco

I loved the golf ball bubbly, rainblo and sour grapes ate tons of those little beggars :!:

There are sites I think where you can get the 70 s and 80 s sweets, this has made me want to have a look :D

I want a trio and I want one now

I remember Pacers - a taste of the eighties

Coffee Walnut Whips - yummy
Hubba Bubba fizzy drink - tasted really nice - full of E numbers though
Strawberry Aero - yes there was one once

Golf balls you can still get.

Can't remember strawberry aeros but coffee is the drink of the devil and can't stand the stuff.

 That's me  Love coffee and coffee flavoured things

Actually I'm sitting here now drinking coffee with a piece of coffee and walnut cake :!:

Wham bars are the classic downsized chocolate, mainly because they didn't just downsize slightly but completely took the piss with it

Bounties used to have a cardboard sleeve inside that made the choccy taste of card :?

Milky Way used to be brown inside.

Marathon is the only way i would choose to address or recognise what they now call 'Snickers'. WTF

Pyramint. Remember them? Dark chocolate pyramid with green stuff inside. Amazing.

What happened to Toffos?

Another thing that really grinds my gears -

Roses chocolates at Christmas. In the '80's they had some great flavours and the tins contained more sweets. If you check your mum's or gran's cupboards i'll bet they have an old tin for keeping cakes in.

Over the years the best flavours have been taken out ...not the barrel though :p. The barrel is a ledg among sweets. Coffee and Bournville were my faves. Bastards!

That is shocking! There is too much coffee discrimination about. The same people that got rid of coffee killed Jesus!

Fruit Toffos were amazing :D

Anyone remember Fuse bars? Came out in the mid 90's and seemed to contain bits of every other Cadburys chocolate bar ever made 8) ****ing fantastic

I used to go mad for those MOTU jellies which were supposed to be in the shape of the characters!

Poor pic but top right

I remember those. Never been into jelly sweets except for cola bottles.
