RG moc focus (In Memory of Andy)

Thanks Weaz.

A couple of pictures to add here and my little story-

Firstly a great shot of Andy's living ERG wall!

Secondly this was a great little display Andy built for his bootleg figures:

I was becoming quite friendly with Andy just before he did pass away, we were discussing focus collections and Ledy figures in PM for a little while but unfortunately I missed the news of his death and the sale of his collection due to taking a break around the same time :(

In 2011 I noticed a few ERG bootlegs going up for sale on Ebay and low and behold they were from Andy's collection.

I managed to speak to the seller (a very nice chap) who was happy to get one of them to me so now I have a bit of Andy's focus in my collection:

He is sat next to the Tri ERG to represent Andy - Hope that makes you smile Andy mate! Take care up there!

That was probably Darren. I think he dealt with Andy's collection, after his untimely passing.

It was Robbie, he helped Darren split the collection up and get it sold.

Another sad loss to the collecting world. Glad i had the opportunity to meet him a few times at shows.

It was one hell of a collection. Very red!

Robbie Mullan I assume? He of Galactables. Decent fella, not sure I agree with his U grading thing tho.

Er... so you like the Royal Guards then?!

Stunning collection of them dude, nice work! ;)

That guy had such an amazing royal guard collection.

Sorry to hear that he is not here anymore.

I could have learned much form him.

May he rest in peace

This is a very nice focus collection, for one of my favourite figures. I always enjoy seeing Vintage and Modern together in the same focus.

Sorry to see the op has passed away,he may be gone but he just put a massive smile on my 5 year old son's face,he loves ERGs (he calls them red guys) and when I showed him this collection his face lit up and he exclaimed 'Wow! Look at all the red guys!'.

They may not have had a huge role in the film but they definitely look damn awesome, they were always one of my favourite figures when I was a kid.

I am 100% sure Andy would be more than happy to know your lad enjoyed his collection, thanks for posting that mate.

This is one of the best focus collections I have seen out there

I seen this many years ago and I very sorry Andy has Passed , the ERG was one of the figures I was considering collecting also. His card and design is one of the best i would say in the whole vintage line and I am glad Andy shared these pictures

May he rest in piece and may the force be with him , am sure he is up there chatting away to Alec Guinness and Ralph McQuarrie bout those ERG.

Thanks

Vince

Just seen this. Really brought back some memories as knew Andy from an old forum. Thanks for posting pics!

I thought I remembered your username Spooked, were you not part of the Palitoy Archive set up at Celebration Europe?

If so you must be in this picture?:
