Yeah Han it was mentioned sometime last week.
Thing is though there is no mention of reseal in the listing but it is listed under resealed figures in fairness.
Suppose it's cheaper than a real Palitoy han 12 back but not for me though.

Must have edited his description, sure it didn't mention it before.

All his reseals are listed the same way. The ones I've looked at (including this one) mention it's a reseal right down at the bottom of the listing from when the auction was first listed. They are all listed in the "resealed figures" though I tend to overlook the section listing when I look at an auction on ebay. The fact it mentioned being MOC in the listing is also confusing. In conclusion, I think he has put enough on there to cover his back is someone buys and doesn't realise it's a reseal. Though I think he is hoping to get better prices through people being caught out.

thats all well and good , but the problem comes when anyone buys it asuming its a moc,,, then keeps it for a few years then sells it on as a moc, can you imagine the confusion !!! i'd be ****in pissed off and iam sure everyone else on here would feel the same..........

anyway its 100% ovious to me that its a legal scam, ----on the surface it looks to be good , then theres enough detail written (100% original bubble etc..) then loads of other boring stuff , which at that point most of us wouldnt bother reading it and take it as moc..... and low-and -behold toward the end in the quickest way it could be possibly described ...resealed..nicely hidden away mate !!!!

the seller knows its a con, i know its a con, you guys know its a con, but theres many people who will not read the whole description who wont know! and thats why ebay isnt a safe place to trade, and its only going to get worse.....

iam going to move house soon , i might sell my lot the same way just before i move.....i'd be like kyser sosay..."like that he was gone"

iam getting off my soapbox now !!

It's not really a scam though. A bit misleading though for the unwary, admittedly. I don't like the way the resealed mention is so far down the page, but there's no law against that. Also...

1. He does not mention it's sealed

2. He lists it in the resealed section

3. He says it's been resealed

4. MOC does not technically mean sealed

A 12 back Palitoy Han is a high end piece. A nice sealed one could well go for over Ã'£750. Anyone after such a piece would have read the description fully before thinking of putting down that much money. If someone buys it thinking it is a reseal, then it's their fault for not checking properly. If they then sell it on as a sealed, knowing full well it isn't, then that's the scam.

I paid more than that for a reseal, and I know others who've paid consdierably more. It's really not that unusual.

polish bootleg figure for sale ........

I hate this guys listings - you spend ages reading through and everything looks ok after reading the (MOC, genuine, 100% original etc) then the last part mentions reseal - how is that legal - surely the fact that its a reseal means it is not MOC???

How is it illegal?

He says it is resealed. I hate reading through all that crap too, and I don't doubt it is all there to draw you in, but i do not think he's doing anything illegal at all.....just annoying

And, MOC means...Mint on Card.....it refers to the figure, not the card. It is a mint figure on a card, which, assuming he's described the figure accurately, is exactly what it is. MOSC is often used (though not often enough imo) to refer to the card as sealed. Sadly MOC is also used when people described a sealed one. I admit it's purely a technicality, but enough for this auction to be legal.

However I think it should have reseal in the listing title, not just the description. But people on ebay take this kind of liberty all the time, which is exactly why if you're going to be spending money, you should read the listing carefully.

Legal was probably not the correct word to use - he is being very underhand about it though, using all the positives at the top of his description and then near the bottom mentioning its a reseal.

I've watched a few of his auctions and I have no doubt that he is getting higher values because of his descriptions.

you're possibly right.

But then, that's what anyone would do, describe something in the most positive way possible. As long as he hasn't lied, there's no real problem.

It's just annoying.

And there are plenty of annoying auctions on eBay.

i do it ,i am a toyjacker .but i only have about 4 sentances ,one saying its a reseal  i want as much money for my next piece and if someone is daft enough not to read description before throwing their cash away its their loss my gain

Lol I just got a kick out of reading hans posts.. so the idea for his exit out of the hobby was born in this thread..Nice!
