Great Jason, thank you for coming through.

I must admit I'm concerned by the 138 ESB cards-no new characters. That could mean many things, but I for one hope no logo cards were there.

LEE

I believe that was referring to poor condition cards.

Further to my concern about the 138 ESB cards,I say this because there was a point made of 6 original carded SW Palitoy,if the ESB were carded it would be stated-no? Toni has had quite a few in over the years....food for thought.

Imagine even if those 11000 (or however many there was) unused cards were sold at £100 each, thats over a million pound

What caught my eye was the mention of un-usable bubbles.

Would 3 boxes cover this many cards? If so have bubbles been sourced from elsewhere, repro bubbles maybe?

Repro with dimples?

How far back in the thread are the dimple images?

How long have the repro bubbles been available? what other toy lines used similar sized bubbles in the 90's...?

Its just question after question

Yes Eds,maybe but why we're they not referred to as German as the other ESB cards were mate?

It would appear everyone is happy with this list?

Why do you say that Jeff?

I guess there is no way of proving its originality - especially online rather than in the flesh

Sadly,I think it's now official that TT has been ripping people off for years.

Very dark days.

The list notes that the Tie Figthrer Pilots are (PALITOY ENGLISH). i.e Palitoy 45b

I believe the Bossk (1000 Approx) are also Palitoy 45b

As are the Chewbacca.

cheers Jason

Way back

But they could have been sealed recently - certainly no ironing involved.

It would explain the various types too

I don't know who to believe but I've just taken a second look at my UK and German 45 backs, and the AFA German Stormtrooper has me worried.

Does anyone have an obviously shop bought double stemmed card, with a series of pin sized holes around the bubble. Should be two on the top, two on the left hand side and one on the bottom.

...

I will ask again....I have found more:

All three bubbles are different! We have two different single stem and one more double stem on Stormtrooper!

Does any one else have cards with that holes????

My concern is that with that many cards there could be a real mix. Would you check 1000 cards if the top 50 were German?

My Bossk posted earlier is 45B - happy for some scrutiny as there are no apparent flaws and a bit of sticker residue

So figures that are well short of cardbacks are:-

C3P0 Removeable limbs
Death Star Droid
21B
Imperial Tie Fighter Pilot
Luke Farmboy
Imperial Hoth Trooper
Luke Bespin
Lobot
Luke Hoth
AT AT Driver
Chewbacca
Power Droid
Boba Fett
Rebel Commander
Bossk
Bespin Security Guard Black
IG88
Han Bespin
Stormtrooper
Han Hoth

Does that correspond to what is being bought on the ebay account?

cheers Jason

Looking at Joe's thread, all of the figures bought on the first page are figures showing up short of figures for cardbacks on JJ's list.

That's pretty damning,

One thing might be worth checking against the old Model Marts mags that people have:

The 24x Italian Promotion Packs - Paploo, Vader, Leia Hoth, Imperial Commander.

Wouldn't they have been quite unusual back in the day? With 24 to sell he might have listed them in the magazine? If you find a load of those for sale by TT that would be more evidence.

Also, some of the vehicles on the list are on TT's website as well. Droids ATL, Speeder bikes, Skiffs, Rebo, Chase Set, Hoth Rescue - they're all there.

As someone who bought from Toni years back,I can also state that he had loads of Palitoy logo 45 back Bespin Guards. He had shitloads of them, and was when Palitoy collecting went crazy, they flew out i beleive.

They are a very common figure in the scheme of things, but i wonder...
