All of my mocs are low grade including reseals.

Bought a Lando Skiff today where the bubble has completely come away, but all is original and I got for peanuts

Was looking for some advice on the type of adhesive to use and any tips from anyone who has resealed :?:

Also the bubble has a double stem, is this normal for the lando skiff ROTJ?
Edit
I have done a bit of reading ( thankyou Mr Palitoy)...is this then a Palitoy 65b card?

Most people will know that I am not a seller, and therefore 99% of the items I do purchase are for me or for my joint collecting with my son, so there is no worry on me looking for advice in order for me to hoodwink on evilbay

Many thanks if you can assist in any way, it would be appreciated

Super glue works too, but sometimes clouds and is not quite as friendly. Do not use the cheap double sided tape on a roll....you will not be happy.

Yeh some sort of double sided tape is best. If there's a better type than the ordinary shop stuff then use that 8) The ordinary stuff isn't very strong but is very easy to use and it's see through, which you want. It's not absolutely necessary to go all the way round with the tape. On some i've just done the sides. Trim off the excess tape. Then stick down. You want to get the print exactly matched up so take a bit of time.

I have tried PVA but it's a bit too moist and can **** up the card if you're not careful, although it does dry clear. No offence but I wouldn't use super glue. No margin for error and clouding will balls up your card

Cheers bud all advice welcomed, forewarned and all that, I'm good a f*** ing stuff up :D

Ill invest in some good quality 2 side clear tape

Cheers again guys :D

Any advice on the double stem bubble...intrigued by that

Edit...all good...it was right under my nose :!:

Going to take my time with this, as its double stem and they apparently are more apt to lift and come away ( hence this card, as you can see it will reseal really nicely as there are no tears really visible once in place).

Really like it so TLC required :D

That looks to be a fairly easy one to reseal. I think most glue's like UHU would be fine as you could but a thin layer on the bubble with a brush. I wouldn't put any on any clear areas of the bubble as it will show but as it looks like there is a lot of paper/print on the bubble you should have plenty of area to work with. Just remember to not put too much glue on as it can wrinkle the paper and you also don't want it coming out of the sides of the bubble. Once glued I normally arrange some heavy books around the bubble edges on a solid flat surface. I also sometimes use pegs on the out side edge of the bubble to keep in together whilst drying.

The only thing I'm still trying to figure out how to do is reattaching a couple of failed bubbles that have come loose or are hanging on to the card for dear life. As there's little to no print on the bubble I feel that anything I use will show up. I'm thinking the only way forward is to use a top loader to hold it in place but after hearing that the PVC in the lop loader may cause yellowing I'm not so sure now. Maybe a solution will present itself in time! :D

Thanks Ian

Pegs....great advice, wouldn't have thought of that.

Just deciding on glue or double sided tape :?:

Well not the best, but ok for me, realised I have put the weapon in the wrong place....muppet

Be careful with pegs. If you use glue and then peg the bubble in place it can warp and wrinkle the card slightly, this is because of the moisture in the glue. I haven't tried it yet but maybe using lolly sticks around the bubble clamped in place by the pegs. It might work and would distribute the pressure of the pegs. Only problem with that is that you want to see that the print is lined up. Hmm :?

Gluing the part of the bubble towards the centre of the card is difficult. I was wondering if you can get extra long pegs or some implement that can be used as a clamp. Not found anything yet.

Don't know about the weapon but the reseal looks ok 8)

If you look at the bubble over lando s left shoulder, there is a bump shape...presumably for the pike  , bloody missed it

While that might have been the intention when the bubble was produced there was actually no tape used to keep the accessories in place on ROTJ Palitoy figures. As such it really doesn't matter where the weapon is.

Although, if you taped it to the bubble then you still did it wrong
