i was gonna start a repro weapons thread were people can add to so we had our own repro guide but i cant get good close up pics any tips .

no ****ing kitchen jokes ehh craig :roll:
 
when i do pics i use 2 lamps as spotlights, and use the camera in between.

i hold the cam (K750i) about 4 inches away to take the photo. you an always edit the pic with fireworks or photoshop after.

dont use the flash...

its a mobile fone with camera dude

it has macro feature too

I've always wanted to start a loose coollection to go with my carded, but it's such a mind field spotting fakes.Unless you take them off beat up cards it's so hard to tell the difference.I've been collecting for years and some of the fakes are too close to call now days.
 
You do know that there are slight mould variants on vintage weapons as well, so what you believe to be repro may not always be....!! :wink:

and knowing you they dont have to be in a beaten up state either !
