hey guys
Recently bought a vader saber off ebay. The seller had a neg for selling repro stuff as originals, but I naively thought, everyone makes mistakes. Bought it, its an obvious repro, painted red, which I scratched the paint off, and it was black underneath.I left negative feedback, and the seller contacted me saying this.
Hello
Very upset that you left negative feedback before contacting me with your concerns, a full refund would be offered if still not satisfied. I have been an eBayer for many years with an excellent record and a Star Wars collector for even longer and the item was bought and sold as vintage in good faith.
I hope that you will contact me and this can be resolved and the negative feedback removed.
Many thanks,
J21.
I do not believe a collector would be so naive to think it was a real saber, I've only been collecting seriously for the past two years, and I could tell it was a fake straight away, I probably shouldn't have left a negative so quickly, without consulting him first, but it angered me that such a blatant con artist would try to make money by deceiving people.
The picture, it looks a little to dark a red, but I thought it may just be a variation, as I don't know everything yet, and am still learning about all the variations.
Was I in the right to leave a neg without messaging him first? I'm not the first person to, and I doubt I'll be the last.
Heres the ebay listing, where it is deffo sold as vintage, not repro!

Ok, rant over!
