Repro or OK ?

Thought I would show off my new camera skills (and new camera) and also see if any of you lads can help.

This arrived the other day with a set of complete figures. I was happy with all the other weapons but just not sure of this one. It passes float and drop tests but it just seems a bit rough compared to others I have had

I would say that's legit- just not a very crisp moulding!

It has the two circles that it should have, I find the drop test is the easiest to spot repros- repros sound tinny and hollow, the originals have more of a this about them. Also the originals are semi flexible whereas the repros are much stiffer.

I actually am 90% sure these are fake. There are a few different ones, all black weapons, all with the extra 'flashing' at the seam. I am waiting on a Palace blaster in the mail to confirm this. http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1070602/

I had seen that link and was actually going to post this one onto it as well.

It was sent with a Leia Poncho which is even stranger and as I say, I bought 5-6 figures off the guy and all the rest I am happy with.

What do you think the best way to tell if this is a fake is ? Might go back to the seller and ask where he got it from.

Wow, that looks rough! That's either a repro or it's been burnt. I've never seen a genuine vintage weapon that looks like that.

With that amount of plastic flashing around it...I would say fake...unless Kenner's quality department was asleep at the wheel.
